what's in the library
- The MMTC Library has more than 3,300 BOOKS, VIDEOS & MAGAZINES covering every program on campus!
- The Library offers thousands of online resources through LIRN DATABASES: InfoTrac, Credo Reference, ProQuest, elibrary.
- In addition, the Library Web site links students to hundreds of high quality, librarian-reviewed online resources.
- Please ask the Library staff for help finding any type of information on the shelves or online!
- If you don't see a resource you need, ask at the Library Desk; we'll help you find it at a nearby library.
how to find information and borrow books and videos
- Use the Library Website to search the Library Catalog, LIRN Databases and to find good resources.
- If you need help with anything, please ask at the Desk, call us at 843-574-0101 or send an email.
- Get your password for the LIRN Research Databases at the Library Desk.
- Bring items to check out to the Library Desk.
- Current students, staff and faculty can check out up to 3 books and 3 videos at a time for 7 days, with one renewal.
fees
- Photocopying: 10¢ per page. Change is available at the Library Desk.
- Overdue Items: 10¢ per day for books; 50¢ per day for videos.
- Lost or damaged items: Replacement price of damaged or lost book or video, plus a $25 processing fee for each item.

- The TV in the Library Study Room can be used to watch VHS tapes or DVDs; headsets are available at the Library Desk.
- When searching the Library Catalog for DVDs or VHS tapes, use "vid" in the Call_Number field.
- When searching the Library Catalog for magazines, use "mag" in the Call_Number field.
